The Challenge
Design a tissue box cover to optimize space on a desk
The Solution
I utilized NX to design a simple tissue box cover that has the opening hole on the side rather than the top. Putting the hole on the side allows items such as earbuds, keys, wallets, etc. to be placed on top. This feature helps reduce clutter on a desk while optimizing space. When printing the model, I made the supports grow inside the cover. This decision used more support material, but ensured a nice finish on top of the cover. I uploaded the .STL file to Thingiverse, the link can be found below.
